Markets are steady today as investors weigh the outlook for economic recovery, while US lenders have risen after clearing stress tests. Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase and Citigroup are all higher in premarket today as Wall Street banks passed the Federal Reserve’s stress tests. Nike has also helped dictate market optimism, jumping 12% in premarket after an upbeat sales forecast from the sportswear maker.
The benchmark 10-year US Treasury yield hovered around 1.5%, while oil trimmed a weekly gain ahead of an OPEC meeting.
