S&P Futures are displaying a small gain this morning in the pre market, yet the possibility of additional weakness remains. Odds of a government shutdown are reported to be 90%. Estimates indicate that the shutdown could last 3 weeks. The UAW is said to be in continued discussions with the automakers, if no progress is mad additional strike will be announced tomorrow. In Europe, stocks have turned mostly higher, due to inflation readings Oil futures are fractionally lower awaiting a new catalyst.
