S&P Futures are slightly lower this morning. Autos & semiconductor stocks are weak. Employment data be a key focus again today with the ADP Employment report being released. Hurricane Idalia remains a key issue as the storm will make landfall today. In Europe, stocks are mixed to lower. Regional inflation data from Spain & Germany came in slightly hotter than anticipated. Oil prices remain elevated for now ahead of Hurricane Idalia making landfall. Also effecting oil prices was the API report which indicated a larger than expected draw on stockpiles.
