China's consumer inflation rose more than expected last month, highlighting some improving trends in the country. Middle East tensions are elevated as Israel is expecting hostile actions from Iran or one of its proxies over the weekend. In Europe, stocks are gaining but have come down from their highs, and oil prices are moving ticking higher.
