S&P Futures are moving lower this morning. There is a media report suggesting that the CIA intercepted a message intended for Russian Generals to begin its invasion of Ukraine on Wednesday, Feb. 16. The threat of a Russian invasion of Ukraine is shaking up a fragile global oil market, pushing prices higher. In deal news, Lockheed Martin scraps to buy out Aerojet & Cisco is said to be looking to buy Splunk for $20B.

S&P Futures are moving lower this morning as bond yields rise. The volatility is being driven by yesterday's higher than expected CPI print, which has resulted in calls for interest rate increases. Earnings season remains a focus of the markets and Private equity firm Apollo is closing in on $2.3 billion deal to buy Worldline. This morning we have the January ADP national employment report being released. This report is a precursor to Friday's Non-Farm Payrolls report. S&P Futures are flat to lower this morning. Stock futures along with Treasury yields are edged lower ahead of today's manufacturing data releases and earnings from big-name companies including Exxon Mobil and Alphabet. AT&T announced plans to spin-off Warner media after closing on the Discovery transaction. Euro markets opened up higher and have continued to gain.
