S&P Futures are showing strong gains this morning as the rally continues. Asia and European markets are higher. Ahead of the opening bell, there are a host of economic reports due out including Jobless Claims, Housing Starts, Indu Production, and the PMI Composite Flash is due out 15 min after the open. The markets are reacting positively towards the FOMC decision to quicken the pace of ending its stimulus program and the expectation of 3 rate hikes in 2022. After the bell today, watch for earnings reports from ADBE and FDX.

S&P Futures are flat to lower this morning. The key economic events today are the release of the November Retail Sales report and the FOMC announcement. Oil is trading lower as demand is not running as hot as expected. Nordson Corp., Lennar Corp., and Trip.com Group Ltd. are among the companies reporting results today after the bell.

S&P Futures are positive this morning. Positive action overnight in Asia has helped push both the European and U.S. indices higher this morning. There are expectations that China will be introducing additional stimulus measures. There is an FOMC meeting this week and it is expected that the Fed will announce measures to end their bond-buying program in the Spring.

S&P Futures are indicating a positive open this morning. Earnings results after the close yesterday were mainly positive and pre-market gains in the FANG stocks are helping the index to tick higher this morning. The key economic event today is the release of the CPI data one hour before the market opens. Inflationary data will be the hot topic over the next week. The Fed has its FOMC meeting next week.

S&P Futures are moving lower in pre-market trading. After three days and a significant move higher we are seeing some profit-taking. The recent bout of market volatility was created by conflicting headlines on the Omicron variant and mixed signals on the health of the economy. The U.K. has outlined a new work-from-home mandate and mask guidelines last night. This morning we have the weekly jobless claims figures being released and after the close today, we have earnings reports due out from AVGO, COST, LULU, MTN, ORCL, and more.

S&P Futures are fractionally higher this morning after two days of strong gains. On the economic front, we have two key reports due out, the JOLTS report and the EIA oil stockpiles report. On Capitol Hill, the CEOs of 6 major cryptocurrency firms will be appearing before Congress to discuss regulation. Also, Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram, appears before the Senate at 2:30 p.m. ET to discuss “Protecting Kids Online,". Oil prices are showing gains this morning as the API reports indicate a draw in stockpiles occurred last week. RH & GME are scheduled to release earnings this afternoon.

S&P Futures are slightly lower this morning ahead of this morning's Non-Farm Payrolls report that is due out one hour before the markets open. Oil prices are displaying gains this morning as OPEC agreed to continue with its scheduled production increases. Congress passed a short-term funding bill and avoided a shutdown. Concerns over the Omicron virus has started to diminish as drug companies confirmed that their treatments remain highly effective.
