S&P Futures are displaying gains this morning as markets prepares for an ECB announcement on interest rates and this morning's data on Producer Prices. Jobless Claims are also on tap this morning, expectations are for a reading of 225,000. Tech stocks are showing gains. MRNA, NTGR and ALK, all released updated guidance data. After the bell today. ADBE is expected to release earnings. Norfolk Southern (NSC) is lower this morning as CEO was removed due to an improper relationship. An ECB announcement is expected at 8:15 am this morning. In Europe, markets are displaying strong gains, and oil prices are higher as Hurricane Francine is creating numerousness for oil futures.

S&P Futures are lower this morning as markets prepare for the release of the latest inflation figures. Harris Trump debate was the key news event overnight; however, the election is still a long way off. The Fed's Michael Barr introduced new bank capital requirements yesterday which is positive for Bank. Nippon Steel executive is said to have flown into Washington DC in an effort to save its takeover deal with U.S. Steel. On Thursday there is an ECB announcement where a rate cut is being anticipated. In Europe, markets are slightly higher, and oil prices are recouping some of yesterday's losses.

S&P Futures are flat to lower this morning as the earnings and economic calendars are light today. ORCL delivered a positive earnings report last night plus they announced deals with cloud providers. EU regulators uphold fines to AAPL & GOOG. Congress passed legislation to cut off U.S. government funding for Chinese biotech companies deemed national security risks. AAPL's iPhone release came in as expected. Trade tensions with China remain a concern as exports grew while imports fell.
On Thursday there is an ECB announcement where a rate cut is being anticipated. In Europe, markets are slightly lower, and oil prices are giving back yesterday's gains as China consumption remains cautious.

S&P Futures are displaying positive action this morning after last week's selling pressure was overdone. Markets will be focusing on Wednesday's CPI data and Thursday PPI data releases. AAPL's iPhone 16 to be released today. Boeing averted a potential union strike. DELL, PLTR & ERIE are being added to the S&P 500 on 9/23. AAL, ETSY & BIO are being removed. Congress embarks on what has been billed as "China Week," a bipartisan bill targeting Chinese biotech companies. On Thursday there is an ECB announcement where a rate cut is being anticipated. In Europe, markets are displaying gains and oil prices are positive by more than 0.75% in the pre-market.

S&P Futures are falling ahead of this morning Non-Farm Payrolls release. Yesterday's ADP employment report was considered soft which is creating nervousness ahead of this morning's release. Overall, the recent bearish sentiment can be best described as markets anxiety on economic growth concerns. On the earnings front, Broadcom delivered a beat last night, but their forward guidance as light. This is a continuing theme being seen on AI related stocks. Salesforce announced a 1.8B takeover of Own Company. Costco reported August sales slightly below expectations. Looking ahead to next week, On Monday, AAPL to release its lates iPhone and ORCL is releasing earnings. Tuesday is the presidential debate. Wednesday the CPI data is set to be released. On Thursday there is an ECB announcement where a rate cut is being anticipated. In Europe, markets remain lower as economic data came in below expectations, Oil prices are flat to higher this morning.

S&P Futures are extending their losses from yesterday this morning as a wave of selling pressure seen from Asia to Europe overnight. Markets will be paying attention to this morning's reports on factor orders and job openings. After the bell yesterday GTLB & HQY released positive earnings reports. ZS also beat but lowered Q1 guidance. This morning, DLTR released weaker than expected eps report, DKS and CIEN are on deck this morning. While the U.S. & China's economic data was slightly disappointing yesterday, markets remain in the red this morning, price action appears overblown. Bank of Canada is expected to announce a rate cut this morning. OPEC is said to be consider a delay to its October production hikes. In Europe, the major three indexes are lower. Oil prices have reversed course and are now trading higher.

S&P Futures are displaying negative action ahead of the opening bell. The focus this morning will be on the ISM Manufacturing report due out after the opening bell. This afternoon ZS, GTLB, HQY & PD will be releasing earnings reports. Tomorrow morning, DLTR, DKS & CIEN are scheduled to report. Shares of Boeing are under pressure this morning due to a downgrade from a major broker. Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris on Monday opposed the sale of US Steel to Japan's Nippon Steel. China launches probe into Candian imports and Beijing has also threatened Japan with severe economic retaliation if Japan further restricts sales and servicing of chipmaking equipment to Chinese firms. In Europe, the major three indexes are lower. Oil weakness continues with crude oil trading lower this morning by more than -1.5%.

S&P Futures are displaying positive action ahead of the opening bell. The focus this morning is on inflation with the PCE report due out before the opening bell. ADSK, DELL, LULU, MDB & MRVL are all higher this morning after releasing earnings results. Next week economic data will be focused on employment with the non-farms payrolls being the major market moving report. There is a big union meeting on Wednesday as dock workers at some of the nation's busiest ports are looking for a new contract. In Europe, markets are higher and reacting to the latest economic data out of the EuroZone. Oil is steady to higher.

S&P Futures are slightly higher this morning as the markets react to the earnings results from NVDA. Nivida is still performing very well, concerns of the blackwell chip being delayed was refuted. CRM, CRWD, HPW, VEEV, PSTG & FIVE delivered positive results. After the bell today, DELL, MRVL, ADSK, LULU & ULTA are scheduled to report. Jobless Claims will be the key economic report today. Markets are anticipating soft inflation data from tomorrow PCE report, Media outlets talk up the possibility of 4, 25 basis point rate cuts by the end of the year to help their ratings but there's no data to support this belief. In Europe, markets are higher and reacting to bullish inflation data from Spain & Germany and oil is edging higher.
