S&P Futures are slightly lower this morning with corporate earnings and tomorrows Fed announcement being the key short-term factors for markets. On the economic front, the Fed starts its two-day meeting today, later this morning there is the Consumer Confidence report being released. MMM came in with an earnings beat this morning. After the bell today AMZN & AMD are scheduled to release. In Europe markets are slightly lower with markets paying attention to corporate earnings announcement. Oil prices are slightly higher with truce talks being a key area of interest for oil traders.

S&P Futures are higher this morning as markets prepares for an important week ahead. Key earnings data, a Fed announcement and a host of economic data on employment are on tap for this week. DPZ is trading higher after releasing positive earnings this morning. TSLA is said to have been given the green light in China to roll out its driver-assisted service. Egypt is pushing a new cease-fire proposal which is causing tensions in the Middle East to subside. In Europe markets are higher with financial shares gaining. Oil prices are slightly lower in a reaction as a cease-fire proposal appears possible.

S&P Futures are displaying a strong move to the upside this morning due to strong earnings reports from MSFT & GOOG last night. Key economic data point for the day is today's Personal Income and Spending data due out 1 hour before the opening bell. Secretary of State Blinken is in China for a meeting with President Xi to address trade complaints and their support for Russia. CVX & XOM both reported positive earnings this morning. In Europe markets are higher with tech shares gaining. Oil prices are slightly higher and looking to close out the week with a gain.

S&P Futures are moving lower this morning as the AI fueled rally appears to be stalling. The economic calendar is active today with this morning with the Q1 GDP report on tap for release. There is weakness in tech this morning after last night's earnings, specifically from META. Meta's release was actually very good report, but the expectations, similar to NFLX were very high. This morning MRK, HON & DOW all released earnings beats. In Europe markets are mixed with the focus on corporate earnings. Oil prices are flat to higher ahead a host of pending economic data points.

S&P Futures are displaying gains this morning as earnings reports are lifting stock prices. On the economic calendar there are two upcoming economic reports to pay attention to. Tomorrows GDP and Fridays PCE releases. This morning there is the Durable Goods report is due out. Tesla is higher as the automaker rolls out a low-priced EV unit & talks up the cybercab. IBM is in focus today as the company appears likely to takeover cloud software provider HashiCorp and they are releasing earnings after the bell. In Europe markets are positive on corporate updates and a positive German business sentiment reading. Oil prices lower ahead of today stockpiles report.

S&P Futures are indicating a positive opening this morning with corporate earnings in focus as 40% of the S&P 500 companies are schedule to report this week. GM, NVS & UPS have already delivered positive reports this morning and are all showing gains in the pre market. Apple's iPhone sales in China are said to be off by 19% in Q1. Purchasing Managers data on tap this morning and expected to show gains vrs the March figures. In Europe markets are higher due to positive earnings reports and the EuroZone PMI reading. Oil prices have just changed direction and are now trading lower. This afternoon's stockpiles report will likely be a key catalyst for oil.

S&P Futures are indicating a strong opening for this morning as geopolitical tensions subside. The week ahead is filled with earnings reports from big tech companies and there are a host of important economic releases. SalesForce.com intended takeover of Informatica appears unlikely to occur as the two sides are unable to agree on terms. In Europe markets are higher ahead of European bank earnings this week. Oil prices are falling as the high level of spare capacity within OPEC countries is considered to be a buffer for any supply shocks.

S&P Futures are lower this morning as market react to the big headline of Israel's attack on Iran. The attack was more symbolic in nature and while the S&P fell hard on the news they have since recovered and are setting up for a strong week ahead as Big Tech begins to release earnings. There will be no Fed Speak next week as the Fed officials will be in their blackout period ahead of the FOMC meeting. Last night's earnings announcement from NFLX was positive, but their forward guidance suggests subscriber rates could be peaking. In Europe markets are lower in a reaction to heightened geopolitical tensions. Oil prices surged 4% on news of the Israeli attack but have given back those gains as oil is now trading lower.

S&P Futures are mostly higher this morning with chips stocks in focus. TSMC earnings report was mainly positive & MU appears to be in line for a 6B grant from the Biden Administration. This morning earnings announcements from ALK, CMA & DHI were positive. After the bell today NFLX is set to release with subscriber data in focus. In today's action Fed Speakers will be out in force as the black out period starts on Saturday. In Europe markets are higher as middle east tensions are falling. Oil prices remain bearish as stockpile data in came in weak yesterday and President Bidens reissuing the sanctions on Venezuela were not as bad as feared.
