S&P Futures are slightly higher this morning as markets continue to digest the release of the Feds meeting minutes from yesterday. There are a host of earnings this morning, Walgreens deliver a 3-cent beat and the stock is higher. Mobileye shares are falling hard due to f2024 guidance data. Employment data take center stage today with the ADP and jobless claims due out, Non-Farm Payrolls reports is due out tomorrow. European markets are cautiously higher and Oil prices are displaying gains of about 1% with Middle East tensions and stockpiles reports in focus.

S&P Futures continue to weaken as markets start to consider the possibility that the Fed may not cut rates until later in the year. This morning JOLTS data is on watch, but this afternoon release of the Fed meeting minutes will be the key economic event of the day. Seeing positive action in healthcare stocks this morning. European markets are lower and Oil prices are continuing to weaken.

S&P Futures are displaying weakness this morning with Middle East tensions and pending economic data reports in focus this morning. Treasury yields are moving higher as markets prepare for a slew of economic data this week including PMI data today, Fed meeting minutes tomorrow and Friday's Non Farm payrolls report. European markets opened higher by have starting to pull back this morning. Oil is prices are higher with as Middle East tension rise on the announcement that Iran is sending a warship into the Red Sea.

S&P Futures are higher again this morning and the index closed in on a record close. The U.S. Navy shot down a drone & an anti-ship ballistic missile in the southern part of the Red Sea. Google reached a settlement on privacy tracking lawsuit. BA announced that all 737 Max jets in China are back in service. NVDA has announced a new chip that will comply with U.S. export restrictions to China. European markets are trading higher in light volume this morning. Oil is prices are higher with events in the Middle East being the key focus today.

S&P Futures are flat to higher this morning and the dollar continues to fall. The year in rally is based on expectations the central banks cutting rates in 2024. There are multiple economic reports due out today, but the markets main source of volatility remains the conflict in the Middle East. Airlines, Chinese tech stocks, healthcare are positive this morning. European markets are slightly lower with weakness in oil and mining stocks. Oil is prices are lower with today's stockpiles report from the EIA in focus.

S&P Futures are flat again this morning. Geopolitical issues are in focus today as Middle East tensions remain elevated. Major shippers are once again navigating through the Red Sea as the international maritime task force increase the safety of tanker traffic. No major economic reports due out today and the calendar is light for the reminder of the week. Next Wednesday, Jan 3rd the Fed will be releasing its meeting minutes and on Friday Jan 5th the Dec Non-Farms payroll data will be released. European markets are trading higher after being closed yesterday. Sentiment remains positive due to rate cut expectation from the Central Banks in 2024. Oil is prices are lower, giving back some of yesterday's big gains.

In lieu of market news, the 2024 presidential election will be a key focus of the media outlets today. Overnight, China walked back its position on banning video games, which resulted in positive action in Chinese software stocks. Tensions in the Middle East remain elevated due to the possibility of hostilities on Israel's boarder with Lebanon. European markets are closed for Boxing Day. Oil is prices are slightly lower.

Micron delivered a better than expected earnings report last night, and after the bell today NKE is scheduled to report. Shares of Boeing are higher on reports that China will be allowing deliveries of the 737 to resume. European stocks are lower. Oil is prices are retreating after 3 days of gains.
