S&P Futures are gaining this morning as the market is focused on earnings reports. Middle East tensions have lower somewhat as diplomates continue to work toward containing the crisis and providing aid. Treasury yields are displaying weakness and markets are displaying positive action as Earning season heats up. KO, KMB, VZ ADM, DGX, HAL, GM, & MMM all delivered earnings beats this morning. In Europe, Stocks are mostly higher, even though PMI data remains under 50. Oil prices are display slight gains.

S&P Futures are [using lower this morning as the 10yr Treasury yield hit 5%. Earning and Geopolical issues remain market drives and the dysfunction is Washington DC remains a negative for the markets. This afternoon we have earnings reports due out from WHR, CLF, CCK LOGI & PKG. Chevron announced a deal to acquire Hess in a 53b deal. Roche agreed to buy Telavant Holdings from Roivant Sciences and Pfizer in a deal worth up to $7.25 billion. In Europe, stocks are moving lower with weakness in the autos, industrials and real estate sectors. Oil prices are slightly lower as a flurry of talks are being held in the Middle East aimed to prevents the Israel / Palestine conflict from expanding.

S&P Futures are falling into the weekend. Cautiousness is in the air as tensions in the Middle East remain elevated. The U.S. vetoed a cease fire proposal issued by the UN. Fed Chairman Powell's comments about the economy were neutral, but the other Fed official that spoke yesterday gave indication that rate hikes are still on the table. In Europe, stocks are moving lower - Oil prices are higher as the U.S. is preparing to replenish the strategic reserves and oil traders are inching volatility higher ahead of this weekend.

With the recent economic data reports displaying stronger than expected growth, today's fed comments should deliver a clear indication of the status of a possible rate hike this year. NFLX is displaying strong gains this morning as its subscription numbers rose. TSLA is off as eps missed guidance. In Europe, stocks are displaying some weakness lower as bond yields have increased. - Oil prices down as the U.S. is providing sanction relief to Venezuela in return for free elections.

S&P Futures are up modestly this morning. Fed speak is a hot topic today, yesterday Fed Gov Michelle Bowman toned down her hawkish narrative yesterday. Othe Fed officials also indicated that they are adjusting their views. This is important to know as the Fed will be releasing its meeting minutes today, which are likely to be hawkish. Israel said that an anti-tank missile was fired from Lebanon. UAW workers in Canada reached a tentative agreement with GM. In Europe, stocks are mainly higher, but there is weakness in the luxury good sector due to earnings releases. Oil is pulling back slightly this morning, as OPEC is said to be considering an increase in production.
