S&P Futures are higher this morning ahead of key reports on PPI and Retail Sales which are due out 1 hour before the market opens. Auto makers are on watch as the UAW contracts expires this evening. China's Central Bank to cut reserve requirement ratio further. Semiconductors could get a boost today as ARM is expected to start trading. European stocks are mixed this morning and oil futures are positive this morning with a gain of more than 1%.

S&P Futures are slightly lower and oil is trading higher this morning. The Labor Dept will be releasing CPI data for August. 1 hour after the market opens, the official oil stockpiles report is due out. Auto sector remains on watch ahead of a potential strike announcement when the UAW contract expires at midnight tomorrow. The upcoming ARM IPO is said to be oversubscribed. CEO of BP resigned abrutply yesterday. European stocks are lower this morning, the U.K.'s GDP contracted 0.5% in July.

The House is back in session today and talks on the spending bill likely to dominate the news on Capital Hill. UAW contract with the auto makers expires Thursday at 11:59 pm. Apple is set to release the iPhone 15 today. The upcoming ARM IPO is said to be oversubscribed. European stocks are mixed to lower this morning. Oil prices higher as the markets awaits the latest comments from OPEC & the IEA.

S&P Futures are trading lower this morning as higher bond yields along with rising oil prices has traders worried that inflation is coming back. GTLB, HQY & ZS are higher on earnings news. The markets will be paying attention to the services-sector activity data and the Fed's Beige Book due later in the day for their policy implications. Airlines have release statements on concerns of higher oil prices. Applications for a mortgage to purchase a home fell 2% for the week and were 28% lower than the same week one year ago. European stocks are lower this morning due to weak factory orders out of Germany. Oil prices are slightly lower this morning.

S&P Futures are trading lower this morning as the market is concerned with the weak PMI figures from China and the EU. Goldman lowered its odds for a recession in the next 12 months due to recent labor and inflation data. Traders will be paying attention to Fed Speak this week ahead of the quite period that starts on Saturday. CME's Fed Watch tool indicate only a 7% chance of a rate high at the Sept FOMC meeting which takes place in two weeks. European stocks are lower this morning and Oil prices are weakening due to the drop in China's services PMI.
