S&P Futures are higher this morning as markets bounces back from Friday's sell off. CRWD remain weak as the downgrades have start to flow in. The airline sector is lower due to the cancelation of thousands of flights over the weekend. President Biden announced that he will be dropping out of the presidential race on Sunday. This will be a major talking point for the markets, but unlikely to create volatility. Markets are focused on Earnings and Friday's CPI release this week. China lower rates overnight, while the cut was not significant, it was unexpected. In Europe, markets are higher with positive action in autos, industrials, tech & healthcare. Oil prices are ticking lower this morning.

CrowdStrike CEO has said that this is not a security incident or cyberattack and that the issue has been identified and that a fix has been deployed. Travel sector is on watch as IT outage news. NFLX delivered solid results, AXP & TRV delivered beats this morning. Economic calendar is light, Fed black out period starts tomorrow. Talk of President Biden removing himself from the race remain elevated. In Europe, markets are lower due to the cyber incident. Oil prices are ticking lower this morning.

Earnings are in focus today, last night report from TSM was positive, company raised guidance which is helping elevate the sector. this morning. Airline sector is weak as UAL & ALK guided lower yesterday. After the bell today NFLX is expected to report. Odds of President Biden leaving the race have increased over the last 24 hours. Also seeing earnings beats from ASML, JNJ, CFG & USB in the pre-market. Multiple Fed speakers today (Goolsbee, Logan & Daly) which will be their last comments before the July Fed meeting. In Europe, markets are higher ahead of an ECB announcement on monetary policy. Market anticipates two more rate cuts from the ECB this year. Oil prices are ticking lower as oil gives back some of yesterday's gains.

S&P Futures are giving back some of yesterday's big gains with tech shares falling this morning. Market is aggressively moving out of tech and into small caps. White House is looking at more restriction on tech sales by foreign companies. Five Below lowered its eps guidance and said that it's CEO is stepping down. Also seeing earnings beats from ASML, JNJ, CFG & USB in the pre market. In Europe, markets are lower as Trump talks up tariffs on foreign companies. Earnings remain a key factor today with AA, UAL and DFS to report after the bell. Oil prices have turning higher due to a draw in stockpile estimated for last night's API report. Stockpiles data will be monitored closely.

Starboard has built a position in Match Group. Also seeing earnings beats from BAC, PNC & UNH in the pre market. In Europe, markets are lower with weakness in auto luxury and retail stocks. Underperformance in Chinese stocks. ECB announcement scheduled for Thursday. Oil prices are falling this morning as Chinese demand continues to weigh on markets, Stockpiles data will be monitored closely.

Earnings season is underway, this week approximately 50, S&P companies will be reporting. In Europe, markets with weakness in luxury stocks. There is an ECB meeting this week with an announcement scheduled for Thursday. Oil prices are flat to lower this morning as the market deal with weakening demand from China against positive data from the U.S.

S&P Futures are slightly higher this morning with the data on the Produce Price Index pending release. President performed well at yesterday's press conference, indicated that he is staying in the race, but laid out a scenario where he would consider dropping out of the race. Export data out of China were strong. Earnings in focus this morning JPM, BK & WFC all delivered eps beats, JPM & WFC are moving lower this morning. AT&T trading lower as a hacker is said to have stolen data on nearly all its customers. In Europe, markets are higher on expectations of a Sept rate cut increase. Oil prices are continuing to display gains this morning.
