S&P Futures are slightly higher this morning with the data on the Produce Price Index pending release. President performed well at yesterday's press conference, indicated that he is staying in the race, but laid out a scenario where he would consider dropping out of the race. Export data out of China were strong. Earnings in focus this morning JPM, BK & WFC all delivered eps beats, JPM & WFC are moving lower this morning. AT&T trading lower as a hacker is said to have stolen data on nearly all its customers. In Europe, markets are higher on expectations of a Sept rate cut increase. Oil prices are continuing to display gains this morning.

S&P Futures are slightly lower this morning. The key event today is the CPI report which is due out before the market. Pepsi and Delta are trading lower after earning releases. Costco announced that they will be raising membership fees in Sept. President Biden is scheduled to hold a press conference today after the NATO summit. NATO pledges $43B in aid to Ukraine with talk of membership. The FTC is said to be preparing legal action against pharma benefits managers (CI, CVS & UNH). Pfizer is higher on positive news on its weight loss drug. In Europe, markets are higher on positive economic data. Oil prices are showing gains with multiple key catalysts ahead.

S&P Futures are positive this morning ahead of Fed Chairman Jerome appearance this morning in front of congress. AAPL & Microsoft are said to be relinquishes their roles on Open AI's board in an effort to avoid scrutiny for regulators. Inflation data out of China indicates a weak demand picture, next week there is a major meeting of the Politburo, and a stimulus announcement is expected. In Europe, markets are higher with travel stocks seeing positive action. Oil prices just turned lower, likely due to the economic data out of China. OPEC monthly report and stockpile data from the EIA are due out this morning.

S&P Futures are higher this morning ahead of Jerome Powell's address to the Senate. BP expects an impairment charge of 2 billion. GLW raised its guidance for the second quarter. A NATO summit starts today. President Biden pledges to boost Ukraine's air defenses. House democrats are said to be having a meeting today to address growing concerns over Biden's ability to win this year's presidential election. In Europe, markets have gone from green to red as market show conerns ahead of Powell's testimony. Oil prices are falling as Hurrican Beryl weakened to a tropical storm prior to hitting southern Texas.

S&P Futures are flat to lower this morning in what is expected to by a busy week in the financial markets. Fed Chairman Jerome Powell will be speaking to lawmakers on Capitol Hill this week. Key inflation reports are due out (CPI & PPI) and the Q2 earnings season gets underway. PARA agreed to a merger deal. Shares of BAX are higher as Carlyle is in talks to buy kidney care unit. Boeing has agreed to plead guilty. In Europe, markets higher as election result come in. Oil prices are falling as due to the weakening hurricane and geopolitical issues.

Pressure for President Biden to step down is said to be increasing. He will be interviews today by the ABC network. In Europe, markets higher as markets remain positive as election results come in. In Europe, markets higher as markets remain positive on recent inflation comments from Fed Chair Jerome Powell. Oil prices are showing some weakness ahead of this morning stockpiles release.

Tesla release weak EV sales data this morning. Barry Dillard is said to be considering a bid for PARA. Bank stocks are raising divided payments after passing the Fed's latest stress test. In Europe, markets are lower as pending election and comments from ECB officials on interest rates is weighing on the markets. Oil prices continue to deliver gains. Hurrican Beryl, Middle East tensions and expectations of elevated summar demand are helping to keep prices higher.

S&P Futures are positive as markets anticipate the PCE report to indicate a continue drop in inflation year over year. This morning PCE data is really the key market moving data point for today. The probability of a rate cut by September is currently at 64%, rising to 76% by November and 94% by December. The Biden Trump debate will receive increased media attention today, but did not provide anything new revelations on either candidate. Nike released disappointing earnings last night.
