S&P Futures are displacing strong gains this morning as yesterday rate hike from the Fed may be its last. Fed Chair Powell indicated that their Fed staff no longer is predicting a recession in 2023. Looking ahead today, there are a host of key economic reports scheduled for release in the pre market (GDP, Durable Goods &Jobless Claims). Meta is up over 8% this morning on strong earnings. In Europe, the major indexes are highly positive due to corporate earnings results and ahead of today's ECB decision on interest rates. Oil prices are positive by more than 1% this morning as rate hikes tend to lift oil prices.

S&P Futures are lower this morning as traders are cautious ahead of today's FOMC announcement. Powell's press conference is likely to create volatility when he starts his press conference. MSFT guidance fell short of expectations, GOOG reported better than expected earnings, and SNAP is down over 18% due to guidance. In Europe, the major indexes are lower due to mixed earnings results and upcoming Central Bank decisions on interest rates. Oil prices are down almost 1% this morning as last night's API data displayed a build in crude stockpiles.

S&P Futures are higher this morning as earnings season picks up. This afternoon, MSFT, GOOG, V, SNAP are scheduled to released. Chinese stocks are higher as China's Politburo indicated that they will be providing stimulus measures. The FOMC meeting starts today with an announcement on monetary policy scheduled for tomorrow. In Europe, the major indexes are slightly higher with earnings and central bank meetings in focus. Oil prices are slightly higher as the stimulus news out of China is boosting sentiment.

S&P Futures are trading higher this morning as the market prepares for a data packed week ahead. Chevron gave a performance update yesterday, tomorrow afternoon we have earing due out from MSFT, GOOG, V, & TXN. On Wednesday, we have the FOMC announcement on monetary policy. In Europe, the major indexes are flat to higher and oil prices are positive by about 0.75%.

S&P Futures are trading higher this morning as tech stocks are displaying positive gains. News week we have the FOMC announcement and earnings announcement for the big tech stocks plus the NASD100 rebalancing. The NASD rebalancing take effect today after the close. Another important item happening next week is China's Politburo meeting where new stimulus measures are expected to be announced. In Europe, the major indexes are mostly higher and oil prices are positive by about 1%.

S&P Futures are trading lower this morning as TSLA & NFLX are moving lower after the companies release earnings yesterday. Discover Financial Services said it would pause share repurchases as it investigates a misclassification of credit card accounts from around mid-2007. This morning's key economic reports are the jobless claims and Existing Home sales, however, the market seems to be preparing for next week's FOMC announcement on interest rates. In Europe, the major indexes are trading higher and oil prices are displaying slight gains.

In the afternoon TSLA, NFLX, IBM & DFS are set to release. U.K. CPI data showed that consumer prices rose at their slowed pace in more than a year.
