S&P Futures turned higher after being softer earlier this morning following a strong move higher yesterday and ahead of a 3-day weekend. Tech stocks are displaying strength while utility stocks are weakening. The inversion of the yield curve remains a source of concern and have return to level right before the banking crisis. Watch for hawkish comments from Fed Govenor Christopher Wall this morning. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken is traveling to China in an attempt to repair relations. European markest are positive, but off their earlier highs. Oil is weakening after yesterday strong gains.

S&P Futures are trading lower this morning as the Fed's hawkish tone in yesterday's statement continues to affect the markets. The Fed's dot plot indicates the possibility of two 25 basis point hikes this year. Powell seemed to waiver on the likelihood of a rate hike in July. Retail sales and industrial production data out of China overnight missed estimates, The PBOC reacted by cutting its key policy rate. Later this morning the ECB will make a monetary policy announcement. Oil is gaining due to positive refinery activity out of China.

S&P Futures are trading higher and the dollar is weakening this morning, multiple sectors showing gains in the pre-market. A judge temporarily blocks MSFT acquisition of ATVI. AMD is trading higher on reports that AMZN is considering AMD's latest AI technology. European indexes are higher, The ECB is to release it's monetary policy statement tomorrow. Oil continues to gain as the IEA lifts its forecast and the White House appears to be ready to buy 12m barrels of oil for the Stategic Petroleum Reserve.

S&P Futures are trading slightly higher this morning. Markets are awaiting today CPI release which is expected to show that inflation has fallen on the year over year basis. China made a move to ease monetary policy; additional stimulus is likely as credit data is weak. ORCL is showing strong gains after its earnings report yesterday. HD is higher and sees mid to high single digit eps growth. In Europe, share are trading higher, Asian markets were also higher and oil is positive by 1% after yesterday's sell off.

S&P Futures are positive ahead of tomorrow's CPI and Wednesday's FOMC announcements. The ECB and the BOJ will also be having meetings this week on monetary policy. There is speculation that Chinese regulators may lower the medium-term lending facility. This afternoon Oracle will be releasing earnings. BIIB receives approval for it's Alzheimer treatment. European markets are trading higher this morning and Oil is down 2% in the pre-market.

S&P Futures are displaying some caution and have been trading about 1/10 of a percent lower all morning. The market is awaiting to key events 1) Release of the CPI data on Tuesday. 2) FOMC announcement of interest rates on Wednesday. Data out of China showed produce prices fell 4.6% in May. European markets are trading lower this morning and Oil is flat today in the pre-market.

S&P Futures are positive this morning. Volatility remains subdued ahead of next week's FOMC meeting. Markets are pricing in a 68% possibility that the fed will pause on a rate hike next week. European markets are mixed to higher this morning, tech & telcom stocks are trading lower. Oil is slightly higher in the pre-market.

S&P Futures are slightly lower this morning. In the day ahead, there are few corporate earnings reports and no Fed Speak or economic reports due out. Markets appear cautious ahead of next week's FOMC meeting where a pause in rate hikes is expected. Japan's Nikkei hit an all time high last night as the weakening dollar helped push stocks higher. European markets are slightly lower this morning and Oil is giving back most of yesterday's gains.

S&P Futures are little changed this morning as the market turns to the next big catalysts event which is the upcoming FOMC meeting. While inflation remains elevated, the Fed is not expected to raise rates in the June meeting. Oil is trading higher this morning, OPEC is keeping production volumes at current quotes, Saudi Araba will however institute a voluntary production cut 1m barrels per day in July. Growth in China's services sector overnight is a bullish sign for equities. European markets are mostly higher ahead of a speech today by ECB president Christine Lagarde.
