S&P Futures are moving higher this morning as markets continue to digest the relatively dovish comments from Fed Chair Jerome Powell yesterday. Today's calendar is very active in terms of Fed Speak and they will likely continue with the narrative that the Fed can afford to wait on more economic data before initiating a rate cut. In corporate news, DIS won its proxy battle against Nelson Peltz. PARA board is looking for alternative bidders. AAPL is said to be consider home robotics for its next big thing. In Europe markets are mostly higher due to better-than-expected economic data. ECB meeting minutes are due out today. Oil prices are slightly lower this morning.

S&P Futures are weakening this morning as yields on the 10 year treasuries hit their highest level in more than 4 months. Yesterday's positive ecnomid data has the markets pushing back its time frame on when rate cuts will commence. Change to Medicare will result in insurers being paid less is causing weakness in that sector this morning. GE is spinning off GE Vernova today, the shares will be traded under ticker GEV. In Europe markets are mostly higher and Oil prices are seeing strong gains as geopolitical issues push prices higher.

S&P Futures are displaying gains this morning as markets start to price in Friday PCE data along with Fed Chairmen Jerome Powell's comments from a speech of Friday. Markets are starting off the second quarter on a positive note, 3M is spinning off Solventum today, the shares will be traded under ticker SOLV. Market will be focused on employment data in the week ahead with Friday Non-Farm Payrolls report being the key economic report for the week. In Europe markets are closed and Oil prices slightly negative with multiple key catalysts ahead.

The economic calendar is void of any market moving reports today, however the Fed is scheduled to hold a Fed Listens event. Earnings were mixed yesterday after the close, FDX is higher, LULU and NKE are trading lower this morning. A ceasefire proposal is likely to be presented at the UN today.
