S&P Futures are higher this morning as the results from yesterday's debt ceiling talk appear to be positive. Speaker McCarthy said that a deal was possible by the end of the week. In yesterday's Fed Speak, Cleveland Mester wants to raise rates, Chicago's Goolsbee, Atlanta's Bostic, and New York Williams appear unlike to vote for a rate hike in the June meeting. Target delivered an earnings beat, but their forward guidance was weak. CSCO to release after the close. European stocks are mixed and oil is now trading higher.

S&P Futures are slightly lower ahead of this morning's retail sales report. Talks on the debt ceiling are scheduled for later this afternoon. Executives from Silicon Valley Bank & Signature Bank will appear before the Senate Banking Committee today. Today's calendar is full of Fed speak, and in addition, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen is scheduled to speak at 9:00 am. European exchanges are higher and oil prices are flat to higher as the market starts to digest this morning monthly oil report from the International Energy Agency.
