S&P Futures are trading lower this morning even though the Swiss National Bank is providing a 53B loan to Credit Suisse. The market is awaiting an ECB announcement on interest rates this morning. There are a host of economic reports due out this morning, but the banking sector remains the key focus of the markets today. Oil is slightly higher and European markets are displaying good gains ahead of the ECB announcement.

UBER, LYFT & DASH are higher as California court affirms tights for employees to treat the drivers as contractors.

S&P Futures are trading higher this morning but have given up a good chunk of gains as traders refocus on the banking sector. While regulators have stepped in to provide security to depositors, lingering questions remain causing continued weakness in the sector. The two leading bank analysts for the past 2 decades are Mike Mayo and Dick Bove. Both are saying that this is not another issue like what we have seen in 2008. The good news is that the Fed is now unlikely to raise rates at next week's FOMC meeting. Boeing is received clearance to resume delivery of its 787 Dreamliner from the FAA and they are soon to announce new orders from Japan Airlines and the new Saudi Arabia airline. Seagen agreed to a $43B buyout from Pfizer ($229 per share).

S&P Futures are trading flat to lower but trending higher from being down 0.50% earlier this morning. The key event today will be the release of the Non-Farms payrolls report which is a key indicator used by the Fed when making monetary policy decisions. The health of the banking sector remains in focus as SVB Financial is facing an emergency capital raise. Asian market fell overnight and European markets are weak ahead of this morning's jobs report.

S&P Futures are trading slightly lower this morning as traders weigh the possibility of a 50 basis point hike in interest rates at the upcoming FOMC meeting. Traders are now pricing in a 76% probability of a 50-basis-points hike in March, up from 31% a week ago. Tensions between the U.S. and China continue to rise as top govermental officials issue harsh comments on the U.S. plans to compete with China is certain sectors. Overnight Asian market were slightly higher. European markets are up and oil futures are falling this morning in the pre-market.
