Oil prices have started to rebound as OPEC members release statements indicating that they are not considering raising production levels. This morning we have a host of retailers releasing earnings and tomorrow's schedule is full of economic releases with the Fed meeting minutes being released tomorrow afternoon.

S&P Futures are indicating a lower opening this morning. Markets are concerned with the Covid situation in China as the Chinese government introduced further restrictions within the world's second-largest economy. In a surprise move, DIS rehired Bob Iger as CEO late last night. This morning we are seeing weakness in commodities, including oil which is lower by 0.50%.

S&P Futures are indicating a higher opening this morning. The retail sector is displaying gains this morning on the back of some positive earnings announcements. Although upcoming holiday sales remain unpredictable. Asian markets were lower due to the continued strains that the Covid lockdowns are having on the Chinese economy. European Markets are displaying strong gains and oil prices flat with Brent trading below the $90 mark.

S&P Futures have been lower all morning as the rally, caused by recent data suggesting cooling U.S. inflationary pressures, looked to be running out of steam for now. Before the bell this morning there are a couple of key economic reports being released and there is plenty of Fed speak scheduled for today. Oil prices are down over 1% this morning and after the close today we have earnings reports from AMAT, PANW, ROST, GPS and more.

S&P Futures have gone from green to red this morning as Target releases weaker-than-expected earnings. This morning's economic data release will likely set the tone for the markets open. Before the bell today the Retail Sales and Industrial Production reports will be closely watched. A missile exploded in Poland, the media indicate that the origin of the missile was likely the Ukrainian Air Defense unit. Oil is flat to lower on the day.

S&P Futures are moving higher this morning. The market is extending yesterday's gains on the expectations that the softer CPI print will lead the Federal Reserve to hit the brakes on rate hikes. The Bond market is closed today for Veterans Day. Health authorities in China said the government was shortening the time travelers must stay in quarantine and curtailing mass testing, among other steps. As a result, oil prices have moved up more than 3% this morning.
