S&P Futures are trading higher this morning even as short-term Treasury yields hovered near their highest since 2007. Despite a hawkish fed, traders are expecting a period of smaller rate increases in the future remains a bullish factor for the markets. Oil is pulling back due to A statement out of China indicating that there will be no change to its Zero Covid policy. Asian markets moved higher on better-than-expected economic data out of China. Later today we have earnings announcements from Activision Blizzard, BioNTech, Lyft, NRG Energy, and Mosaic.

S&P Futures are trading higher this morning ahead of this morning's jobs report. The possibility of a China reopening is creating positive sentiment in the markets this morning. Oil prices jumped 2% this morning on the news and Asian and European markets are higher. Earning announcements remain in focus with over 80 companies scheduled to release this morning.

S&P Futures are trading lower this morning as traders continue to price in yesterday's comments from Fed Chairman Jerome Powell. Today is a heavy day for both earnings and economic events but it is Powell's comments yesterday on the path of interest rates that will be mainly spoken about during the day today. As expected the Dollar is higher and crude oil is weaker.

S&P Futures are flat to higher this morning ahead of today's FOMC decision on monetary policy today. Historically the market has bounced on the 2:00 pm decision, but the real direction is set by the tone coming out of the Chairman's press conference that starts today at 02:30 om ET. Prior to the Fed announcement, the market will receive job data from the ADP, ADP employment data is a key read ahead of Friday's Non-Farm Payrolls report. Asian markets showed strength overnight as China appears ready to move towards an easing in Covid 19 policy.

S&P Futures are pointing towards a strong opening this morning as sentiment is positive.
