S&P Futures ahave reversed course and are now trading lower. There are a slew of economic reports due out before the market opens today. The street is not expecting any significant surprise from this mornings reports, but a surprise in Retail Sales or Industrial production could be a catalyst for today. President Biden says that the railroad strike has been averted. Oil is weakening ahead of next week FOMC announcement.

S&P Futures are trading higher after yesterday's heavy selling pressure. The market is indicating a bounce higher this morning after disappointing CPI figures. Markets will get another data update with producer price index due out before the opening. The Fed is meeting next week and yesterday's CPI print ensures that the FOMC will deliver a 75 basis point hike. Oil is edging higher as global demand appears healthy. Russian President Putin is scheduled to meet with leaders from China, India, Turkey, and India later this week.

S&P Futures are continuing to trade higher this morning. The positive sentiment is due to this morning's inflation report (CPI) which is scheduled for release 1 hour before the market opens. Economists expect the year-over-year CPI level to dip to 8% from 8.5%. As a result, we ae seeing lower bond yields this morning. The Iran Nuclear talks appear to be at an impasse and President Biden signed an executive order creating a National Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing Initiative to ensure that critical biotechnologies invented in the U.S. are developed and manufactured in the U.S.

S&P Futures are slightly higher this morning as traders look ahead to inflation reading due out tomorrow morning. Bond yields are slightly lower this morning and oil prices have reversed course and are now trading higher on the day. ORCL is scheduled to release earnings today after the close.

S&P Futures are displaying strong gains this morning and sentiment is positive. Inflation data out of China came in significantly lower than expected. Markets have absorbed two days of hawkish speeches from Fed officials, as well as 75-basis point rate hikes from the ECB. Next week CPI release should continue to indicate a weakening inflation picture which may make it difficult for the Fed to increase rates by 75 basis points later this month. Oil has started to claw back some of its recent losses and Treasury yields are flat to lower this morning.

S&P Futures are slightly higher this morning ahead of the ECB decision on monetary policy and comments from Fed Chair Jerome Powell. A rate hike from the ECB is widely expected. Powell will be taking part in a moderated discussion on monetary policy with a question and answer segment to follow. Oil prices continue to trade lower in the pre-market as new COVID-related lockdowns in China and expectations of interest rate hikes by major central banks weighed on prices. The key economic report today is the Jobless Claims report due out 1 hour before the markets open.

S&P Futures are slightly higher this morning as the market awaits comments from multiple fed officials today. The key economic event today is the release of the Fed's Beige Book will add color to the state of the U.S. economy, by district and sector, as traders veer towards a third straight 75-basis point rise on September 21. The ECB meets tomorrow and is expected to lift interest rates. Apple is holding an event today where they are expected to release the iPhone 14.

S&P Futures are trading higher this morning. Energy stocks remain in focus after OPEC issues a 100k bpd production decrease. Oil futures are moving lower as OPEC's production cut is having little impact on the global supply, OPEC nations are unable to meet their current production quotas. Treasury yields are higher. Fed Chair Jerome Powell is scheduled to speak on Thursday.

Earnings reports were positive for AVGO & LULU and both stocks are showing strong gains. Oil is trading higher this morning as traders await word from the G7 on possible Russian oil price caps. There is an OPEC+ meeting scheduled for Monday. Markets are closed on Monday for Labor day.
