S&P Futures are trading lower this morning as the markets await the Retail Sales report for July, earnings from some major retailers and minutes from the Federal Reserve's July meeting. LOW is trading higher while TGT is trading lower after earnings announcements this morning. While the FOMC meeting minutes will be widely read, there remains a month of fresh economic data prior to the next FOMC meeting.

S&P Futures are trading lower this morning as the market reacts to earnings from Home Deport and await results from Walmart. Oil is trading lower as the potential breakthrough on Iranian talks would lead to additional supply. The yield curve remains inverted with the 10-year bond yield at 2.806%, while the 2-year yield reached 3.218%. Later this morning we have the July housing starts and permits data and the industrial production figures for July. Tomorrow we have the release of the Fed's July FOMC meeting.

S&P Futures are trading lower this morning as the market grows concerned over the weakening economic outlook in China. Data showed the world's second-biggest economy faltering, with retail sales, investment, and industrial output all slowing and missing forecasts. Oil prices are tumbling which bond yields.

S&P Futures are trading higher this morning as more signs emerged that inflation in the U.S. has been cooling. Oil prices have reversed direction this morning and are now trading lower. OPEC cut its's oil demand forecasts. The EU is proposing concessions to Iran to revive the nuclear deal.

S&P Futures are trading higher this morning ahead of today's Jobless Claims report. The market sentiment remains bullish due to yesterday's positive CPI report. Walt Disney delivered an earning beat last night and the stock is trading over 8% higher this morning. European market are flat to lower while Oil is trading slightly higher.

S&P Futures still trading higher this morning following today's CPI release. The July reading came in at 8.5% year over year vs. the expected 8.7%. TSLA CEO sold 6.9b worth of stock due to the TWTR lawsuit. Disney is scheduled to release earnings after the close. Oil is down over 1% in the pre-market. Bond yields continue to fall with the 10-year to the 2-year spread of minus 46 basis points.

S&P Futures are trading lower this morning. Blue chips are mostly positive however weakness in the FANG & Semiconductor stocks is causing the S&P's to move from green to red. The market is cautious ahead of tomorrow's CPI release which is a key metric used by the Fed in determining monetary policy. The dollar is down and oil prices are also lower. Treasury yields are edging higher. Europe stocks are sluggish.

S&P Futures are trading higher this morning. Positive sentiment is seen this morning as the Senate approves big healthcare, climate, and tax packages, M&A activity, and weakening oil prices. The antitrust bill targeting big tech is unlikely to come to a vote before the Senate goes on break. Economic data this week is extremely light, Wednesday's CPI report is the key report and is expected to show an increase of 8.7% year over year down from July's report for June which came in at 9.1% year over year. Walt Disney will be releasing earnings on Wednesday.
