S&P Futures are trading higher this morning. This morning we have a decision on interest rates from the Bank of Egland and an OPEC meeting that the markets will be paying attention to. Fed officials that spoke yesterday indicated that interest rates are likely to continue to move higher at the coming meetings. Heavy day for earning announcements with over 450 companies scheduled to report today.

S&P Futures are moving lower this morning. China-US tensions are heightened due to Speak Pelosi's planned visit to Taiwan despite stern warnings from China. Earnings reports are coming n mixed this morning. Oil is moving lower ahead of tomorrow's OPEC meeting and European/Asian markets are mainly lower this morning.

S&P Futures are slightly lower this morning. Markets in Europe and Asia are higher, Oil is weakening on Chinese demand concerns. Fed Funds futures are showing a 21.5% probability that the Fed will raise its key interest rate to a range between 3.5% and 3.75% or higher by the end of the year, down from 45.7% a week ago. Boeing is up over 4% this morning as the company is resuming production of its 787 Dreamliner. Later today we have earnings announcements from CNA, CHKP, J, ON, GPN, BCC, RMBS, OTTR, CAR, PINS, MOSANET and more.

S&P Futures are higher this morning as the market reacts to positive earnings reports from AAPL, AMZN CVX & XOM. INTC. This morning, before the market opens there is the Personal Income and Outlays report being released. The Senate passed the 52B semiconductor bill yesterday. President Biden spoke to China's Xi by phone yesterday. Taiwan remains a source of friction as a result, Speaker Pelosi is likely to cancel her trip. OPEC may not deliver a production increase at next week's OPEC + meeting.

S&P Futures are trading slightly lower this morning. On the economic calendar today we have reports on Jobless Claims and GDP. Earnings reports are due out from MA, HSY, PFE, MRK, HON & AMT in the pre-market and from AAPL, AMZN, & INTC after the bell. The airline sector is active this morning as Spirit Airlines has agreed to merge with Jet Blue. Oil stocks are trading higher as crude oil prices move higher and in anticipation of earnings reports from CVX & XOM tomorrow. Sen Manchin has agreed to back the Affordable Healthcare Act.

S&P Futures are climbing higher this morning ahead of this afternoon's announcement from the Fed on monetary policy. The Fed decision is due at 2 p.m. Eastern, with a press conference from Fed Chair Jerome Powell at 2:30 p.m. Expectations are for a 75 basis point hike, but there's uncertainty on what the Fed's message will be, and whether it lines up a pivot after a string of negative economic surveys from both companies and consumers. The bill to reign in big tech is unlikely to come to a vote according to Senator Schumer. The Senate is expected to vote on a bill to boost U.S. semiconductor production. Oil prices are moving higher on stockpile data from last night.

S&P Futures are trading lower this morning with retail stocks in focus. Yesterday after the close, major retailer Walmart lowered its guidance due to currency issues. This morning Amazon announce a price increase for Prime subscribers in Europe. The calendar is full today with earnings reports due out from MCD, GM, KO, GOOG, and MSFT. Today is also the start of the FOMC meeting with an announcement scheduled for tomorrow. later this morning we have a number of key economic reports to pay attention to. Crude Oil price are pushing higher this morning.

S&P Futures are slightly lower again this morning. Social media stocks are in focus this morning as SNAP earnings were a disappointment due to a decrease in AD spending. Advertisers may just be removing ad dollars from SNAP and reallocating them to other social media sites. Oil prices remain on watch as well as next week's FOMC meeting will likely increase the value of the dollar. Next week is a big week for earnings announcements.

S&P Futures are slightly lower this morning as the market start to price in multiple earning reports. Traders are paying attention to the the ECB as they announced interest rate increase of half a percentage point - the first rate hike in 11 years. Oil prices and the dollar are lower as a result. Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi resigned this morning. TSLA is higher after delivering better than expected earnings. President Biden plans talks with China's Xi Jinping soon, casts doubt on Pelosi's Taiwan trip
